I have had this Basic ISP for almost a week now. I have only had one problem. Instead of charging me only 1.00 for the first month, they charged me 1.00 plus 6.95 for the first month. Email support was very responsive to this matter and told me the 6.95 should drop off in a few days and if not to contact them. Then I recieved an email stating only 1.00 was charged and nothing else was charged. Well, I just emailed them back and told them to cancel my account and I will dispute the 6.95 charge if it does not drop off.

 

This is the best service I ever had. I didn\'t have to install any software that used to crash my comuter and I connect at 46k which is faster then I did before and I pay less too!

 

BasicISP should be renamed FundamentalistChristianISP. The home page offers a forum, but unlike most, the contents of the posts are displayed just below the e-mail section. So if you\'re not interested in being told the world was made in six days, try another ISP.

 

I just signed up with BasicISP and am very impressed! No software to download and installl on your PC is a REAL plus in my book. I don\'t get disconnected and I\'m even saving money from my old provider. If you need a good low cost ISP, I suggest you try them.

 

For a dial-up service this one is pretty good for the price. It is slow at times but then so are the high speed ones at work when the networks are really busy. What I like best is that I can use it anywhere I go with my laptop too. Just look up the numbers and there you have it.

 

I had these just for a trial and got spam even after 2 days of signing up. I cancelled.
